Hello lovely people,
We are getting up at night to hand R bottles of water. How do we get him to give these up? I"m thinking cold turkey. what did you do?
We don't use bottles at all during the day now.
He has a binkie but only at night.
He has had restless sleep lately because of teething. thanks, THK

Just told them that its finished. No more milk, no more water. Anton whined for about 3 days in his sleep saying "milk, milk" but then gave up. Hahaha

Awwww . . .

Well, she's had a lot more stress than the average little girl. I hear you, though. F&B seem to feel the same way about their bottles that an executive feels about his martini. They only get them at bedtime, although once in a while they'll ask for one early, and I give it to them, because it isn't often. With Freddy, it more the thing of wanting to be held all the time when he's stressed. I have visions of him playing college soccer sitting on my hip and yelling, "Run, mommy, run! I can't kick the ball!" Take care, Maggie (in VA)

Sippy cups

My kids all have a sippy cup in their bed next to them at night - from about 10 mths old. Roberto should be on these by now I imagine and if you have a night light on he will soon learn to help himself.
