They didn't really recognize the Apraxia only a specialist did. They did well enough on their scoring system that they didn't keep DD long at all. DS stayed a bit longer because of his tonsil/adenoid surgery, their testing, school breaks, snow days etc.
I know they are doing much better but recognize that they aren't that fast at talking compared to their peers. DD mixes up some phrases. DS is more of a mush mouth at times.
Yes, they know their ABCs, counting, prereading is ok.
DS - maybe not sure about his pencil skills? Doesn't seem to have that strong of a grip. DD - great.
Yes, starting up on the omega again. Had done it before but stopped for a while.
I will check with social services agencies again. Good idea.
I just hope they don't get made fun of........... Maybe we can find some ESL friends.
