Wow- 3 already! Hahpy happy day! I hope the three's are good...I am finding the almost three's to be challenging so I hope it gets smoother. There is a lot of defiance, "no" and testing of limits at my house these days. But there is also a lot of snuggling and girl bonding going on too. We painted our toenails and put on barretes and cherry chapstick (her version of lipstick) and as we do all this she is wisely nodding her head and saying"Cause we are girls mommy, not baby boys"
I think it HAS gotten a bit easier the past month. I got so frustrated with her a few times a coupleof months ago, but I THINK we'regetting it under control. She'sdefinitelybecomeagirlnow!
I couldn't be happier for her and for you. I have heard that 3 is the new 2. I do cake decorating and make elaborate 3d Bday cakes. My favorite year is three years old. That is the first year that they get it. And there's so much magic in the day. And their eyes get so big when they see the birthday cake. Enjoy and treasure the day.
Can't believe THREE years!! I keep thinking of that beautiful discription you once posted of your memory of your mother with you in the field of flowers -- that's how I always will picture you and dear little babyboat!

I posted a birthday picture of her on Facebook and two of my mother's old friends wrote to me to tell me how much she favors my mother. How cool is that? (I think I told you once that she has Mama's name.)
