I came to think about then when Australian on a forum was talking about this.
Why are Australians invited at the Gallipoli remembrance? I mean, they were the invaders and killed 200 000 of our youth in that battle. Turkey lost a whole generation because of them. We would be much stronger now if that didn't happen.
For example, German invaders are not even remembered in most European countries and not even invited. Why do we Turks invite Australians and Brits to these remembrances every year that happen into our country at these remembrance at Anzec code? Would Australians and Brits grand us the same kindness if we had invaded their country?
Don't give me the **** story about we are brothers and so on. Most Australians are still stuck up because they failed to take our country. The so called brothership we have towards Australians is not mutual, not back then not now. They saw Turks as animals(sub-human) and only god knows what would have happened if our woman and children would have fell into their hands.
I feel insulted when Australian talk about Gallipoli like it was some kind of game. Our children died there and the invaders shouldn't be given respect but be damned like Nazi german invaders like they do in Europe.
