Hellenic Hoplites (Greece)

For the first time it becomes clear that we are on the verge of a Kurdish state, and indeed in this direction seems to attempt the PKK Kurdish rebels on the border between Turkey and Iraq and Syria. Almost all Turkish military outposts under siege by the PKK militants in emdinli and have countered all attempts of the Turkish army to reoccupy the area.

The PKK has launched its new strategy on July 23 successfully forcing the Turkish army to fold. The objective of the battle is to guarantee the absolute "stillness" around military checkpoints and restrict the movements of Turkish soldiers.

Have taken control of the area by sending large forces that have ruled in prison - Osan not occupied - the tyrkiko Army and gendarmerie forces and attack coming as reinforcements. Result: Dozens dead count the Turkish Army.

In short outposts in the region have now denied the necessary logistics which made competent to operate. That supplies and ammunition.

The Kurdish fighters abandoned the hitherto longtime strategy "knock and leave" instead acquire control of a large outdoor area preventing and limiting the movements of the Turkish army.

The Turkish army has become hostage inside the outposts and used as "bait" to attract and destroy megalytetous sichmatismous.

Bear in mind that one of the deputies who met with PKK angering the government Erdogan, Gülten Kanak said "we never had security forces in the area looked" rather this statement more upset Ankara despite the presence of MPs.

Just how serious is the situation now, and that claims to the Kurds aspire to "fly" out the army, seen from the nervousness that pervades the Erdogan government in recent days, but the security forces.

""Maniots, known for their martial qualities, were the first to join the Greek liberation movement. The society called the Filiki Eteria ("Company of Friends") sent their representatives Perrevos and Chrisospathis to organize the Maniots. On March 17, 1821, 12,000 Maniots gathered in the church of Taxiarchs (Archangels) of Areopoli and declared war against the Ottoman Empire. The flag of the revolution was white with a blue cross in the center. On top of the flag there was a sign, "Victory or death". The Maniots were responsible for writing "Victory" and not "Freedom" on their banner since Mani was always free. On the bottom of the flag lied an ancient inscription, "With the shield or on the shield."
