September 2008. That's when Milgem will be launched to sea.

That's going to be a great day.

The Turkish navy self reliance is improving amazingly, corvettes, patrol boats and TF2000 hopefully.

I also hope that the Kilic II are the last missile boats of foreign origin and we continue with MRTP-70 or something.

Also in the next generation submarine things will be marvelous, although the hull and machines will stay German (U214), a lot of things inside will be indigenous:
- Battle management system (version of the GENESIS)
- Fuell cells (Tubitak-Vestel probably)
- VLS cruise missile (Babur?)
- Torpedo’s (Roketsan)
- UUV

I think Turkey and Pakistan will cooperate on the next-gen SSK...both are likely to choose U214, and are already cooperating in many fields. So I hope Pakistan gains from Turkish experience...such as GENESIS, Turkish fuel-cell initiatives, etc. Regarding Babur...I don't think it will be VLS on U214, but capsulated.
