With all the respect, AKP is what it is in Turkey because of people who think like you...who think IDEOLOGICAL first, everything else second, third, may be even last...ANd has been the governing style in Turkey...Every government that came to power to in Turkey so far always made sure they were not rocking the boat, and that "laicism was protected", from the danger that it never faced. And thats all they did...nothing...Just ride the term out...if you made it 24 months in office, you would be considered successful...Right or wrong, successful or not, did they try to do ANYTHING? Did they pave the roads? Did they bring healthcare reform? Did they manage to curb inflation? Did they do try to do anything for energy independence? Did they try to reduce bureaucracy in the government, or add more by adding their cronies?
