I am almost sure that Greece sent much more sportsman than Turkey to the tournament. It is again a schame for us though.. Like the olympics..

For example in 2008 Greece was represented with 159 competitors while Turkey was only represented with 68 competitors.. In the end Turkey finished No 37 with total of 8 medals and Greece finished no 59 with a total of 4 medals..

I think it is not something to be proud of for the Greeks, yes they have more sportsman but they fail almost on every field... (The ratio of success is 2.5% for Greece - the creators of the olympics.. )

you don't just send the number of athletes you wish to the games, they must qualify in the preliminary rounds in order to compete prior to the games

what that means is we have more qualifying athletes to compete then Turkey


as for 2008 it was a disastrous year for Greek Olympics, but i do believe things have improved and will only get better
