Turkey and Albania

In opening the highway Tirana-Pristina, which took place in Albania before the elections-thriller last Sunday, was the «present» and Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The reason is that the project was made after lobbying decisions, the U.S. Vechtel and Turkish Enka. And it is interesting that in terms of this strategic highway, the previous Socialist government had pushed no connection with Greece.

Ankara has increased considerably in recent years its presence in Albania. Moreover, Turkey has been upgraded and the military presence in Albania. Turkish naval forces have acquired rights in Vlore port, naval base was established in Panormos (the Holy Forty and Himara give us cause), and came into operation on the basis of powerful radar in the Koritsas.

Under the policy which has set the current foreign minister Ahmet Davoutoglou, Ankara supports the positions of the Albanians, as a large Muslim country, both within the Organization of Islamic Conference and in larger fora.

Turkey and Macedonia

One of the main pillars of Turkey's strategy in the Balkans is to strengthen the Skopje-Ankara axis. Deep was so symbolic of the recent two-day official visit of Turkish Chief of General Staff General Ilker Basmpoug in Macedonia, where he met throughout the state and political leadership.

The Turkish epitelarchis reiterated the support of Ankara in the membership of Skopje into NATO. Economic and trade cooperation between the two countries is growing, as well as the choice of Turkish TAV Airports Iolding as a contractor for the operation of two airports and construction of a new freight terminal in the country.

Eastern Thrace

Another movement of interest and is carefully monitored the movement of Turkish military forces primarily to Eastern Thrace. The move is linked by experienced military and diplomatic factors in the developments in Bulgaria and especially the methafrianes elections. The fact that the center of Sofia mayor Boiko Borisof before changing the data.

This time the Turkish army which is developed in Eastern Thrace is composed of the 2nd Army Corps (Tsanakale) and the 5th Army Corps (Tekintagk), while behind them are the 1st Army and the 3rd Army Corps, based in Istanbul. Interesting move by the Turkish side is the purchase of 36 tank gefyroforon Leguan, with which the Turkish army can move in quickly crossing the river Evros. The market was Leguan as compensation to Greek-Russian agreement to supply the Russian sector.

LOL. Albanians take your money and laugh at you. They're only nominal Moslems and hardly practice the religion. It's a dead end for Turkey, but you're still living the dream of the Ottoman Empire.

The only Turkish 'movement' in the Balkans is the bowel movement most Balkans get when they eat Turkish beans.

Like I care what you're doing. Greece has existed for 5000 years and it will exist for another 5000. Because it offers the world something POSITIVE and something of CULTURAL SIGNFICANCE.

My Chinese friends tell me they admire Greece because, like theirs, it's a 5000 year old civilization. That's something you can't buy, Efendi.

Greeks are upwardly mobile, they go where the action is-dominate it and exploit it. Always have, always will. That's why you find successful Greeks all over the world-USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, Argentina, whereever.

Turkey has nothing of value it didn't steal from someone else. Land, property, culture, you name it. But the days of stealing from another nation through warfare or whatever are coming to an end. And Turks can't handle the dynamics of capitalism-they're sheep before the slaughter, IMO.

You stole from us in 1456, you stole from us in 1922, you stole from us in 1955, you stole from us in 1964, you stole from us in 1974. That's it. End of game. The worm has turned, Mohammed.

You're phucked now.

lol, tell those stories to the jewish historians... they are tearing apart your artificial stories every day more and more. soon there won't be glorious fake myths to tell.

anyway, hittites disappeared and unlike gays their history and state were much more glorious. it's not about culture or power, just like in nature it is about to adapt and greeks always failed in such a skill.

Turk says: "anyway, hittites disappeared and unlike gays their history and state were much more glorious. it's not about culture or power, just like in nature it is about to adapt and greeks always failed in such a skill."

Greek says: "Turks have NOTHING to do with hittites. It's another example of you stealing someone else's historical accomplishments. LOL."

this is the process where greeks lie to themselves and then believe it. phenomenal

"hittites disappeared and unlike gays their history and state were much more glorious. "

Just for the sake of argument what did the Hittites do that was so 'glorious' compared to the monumental contributions of the ancient Greeks? Other than fight with the Egyptians at Kadesh (a tie, not a win) I can't think of a single major accomplishment of theirs. Name some of their accomplishments, if they have any.
