Pathetic country asks for green light and its pathetic citizens celebrating foreigners' statements. They have no dignity.
We staterted operation in Cyprus they couldnt say anything but crying.
We are ruling the island for 30+ years, but they are still crying to foreigners and asks for help like a little child.
We said no S-300 on the island, they obeyed our orders.
We said no 12nm, they couldnt declared it.
The list goes on but those people who has no dignity will try to find excuses and excuses again while crying out loud and threathening us by useless EU matters LoL.
Only this thread shows griks doesnt have the ability to rule themselves but what would you expect from a country who had been founded by foreigners?

Shooting an unarmed F-16D after the humiliation in Kardak in 1996 was very similar to finance the shooting of Midnight Express after the humiliation in Cyprus in 1974.

LOL
In 1996 you had double as much F-16 as HAF.
What did you wait for?
Your cowards airforce did not had the ballz, don´t blame us.
Whenever we fukced you out of the aegean you just ran for your lives and soon after you came back for bitching and begging for more.

Come on tuaf.
You know history as well as I do.
You never had the ballz to fight us in aegean.
All you could do was "invading" cyprus with help of kissinger far away from greek army.
You always talk loud.
But you never attack when you don´t have at least 100:1 superiority.
If it is 99:1 you run.
We saw that in 1996.

@Tuaf
F-16D was not unarmed.
This is turco propaganda and you are free to believe this ****.
Truth is very different and sooner or later we will learn full truth which will be very shocking for you.
And you really should stop about your 1000bn economy,it is a huge joke.
Simple reason you can´t explain to anyone how comes a 1000bn economy has same revenues and expenses like tiny little greece or portugal, lol!

The Turkish State is incapable of tax collection, but if you compare the exports and imports of Greece and Turkey, you will understand the huge difference between the two countries.

Actually the U-214 news was published in newspapers like Hürriyet, but Turkish people (in general) don't care much about military procurement projects (Greeks are paranoid about a possible Turkish invasion, so in general, they are more interested in military procurement projects.)
ANKARA - Turkey and Germany have signed an agreement to build six high-tech submarines for the Turkish Naval Forces, Anatolian news agency reported.
The Turkish Defense Industry Undersecretariat said the deal to build Type 214 submarines with air-independent propulsion systems was signed Thursday. The German joint venture is composed of German shipyard Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft GmbH and Marine Force International, the Associated Press reported, citing the undersecretariats statement.
The total value of the deal was not released but it would hover around $3.5 billion (2.5 billion euro). The deal covers six Class-214 air-independent propulsion submarines, which are enabled to remain submerged for weeks, by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft GmbH, a part of the ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems shipbuilding group.
The new class submarines will significantly improve the capability of the Turkish Naval Forces to undertake longer under water operations. Defense Industries Undersecretariat has said the submarines would be co-produced with maximum local content at Gölcük Naval Shipyard in Kocaeli, Turkey.
Defense Minister Vecdi Gönül stated that Turkish industrial participation in the project would be worth around 80 percent of the total value of the deal. "The new national defense deal will boost the efficiency and deterrence of the Turkish Navy, which is a key figure for the regional peace and stability. Like yesterday, a naval force today is one of the most important requirements to becoming a regional and global power in the world," he said.
As the Turkish Type 214 will have a significant amount of Turkish indigenous systems on board, this variant of the Type 214 will have T and N acronyms for the Turkish Navy.
Howaldtswerke-Deutsche will pre-assemble structural and mechanical parts or classified elements such as the fuel cells and propulsion system of the submarine in Germany and will then ship them to Turkey. All electronic and weapon systems, including sensors, communications, and data processing systems, will be of Turkish design and production.

Yes,this is why we learn so much about exact numbers, delivery dates of all subs etc.
Most news said "further details were not disclosed",lol.
Suddenly turcos become shy people?

Let me see.
128bn PPP is what nominal GDP?
Maybe 70-80bn $??
LOL!
Make this x4 and we have 300-400bn $(if next months turkish econoym recovers strongly, lol).
In euros this is exact same GDP like greece will have this year.
Re: US Statedepartment gives green light for turkey shooting
July 5 2009, 3:20 PM
It's not PPP you idiot
The PPP value is always calculated "at the end of the year", based on "end of the year nominal GDP value" and "the year-end values between the local currency (TL) and the USD"

LOL
Moron, greece has lowest tax in whole EU and still greeks are worst tax evaders in the world, lol.
Look at our countries revenues and expenses my dear tuaftroll.
These numbers tell the truth.
Re: US Statedepartment gives green light for turkey shooting

"Revenues and expenses" cover only those of the "state sector" (and not the private sector)
A comparison between the "exports" (what a country sells) and "imports" (what a country buys) are better, because they also include the private sector.

Later history has shown that Turks are getting stronger, bolder, more daring more confident more more, while Greece is getting less , less , less that is a fact.
So for Greece it matters what USA says and acts because we count on them to keep Turkey at bay in the forthcoming future. In 10-15 years, Greece without protection from EU, USA or Russia will become an easy prey for Turkey, another fact.

Turkish gdp is only 1 trillion in wikipedia articles (edited by turds)(as the 30 billion defence budget-lol)
babacan 2008: turkish gdp 730 billions(gross over exaggeration as Turkish accounting skills are required)
tuurkish economy minister2008 :turkish gdp 659 billions..
facts:
-second half of 2008 turgay negative growth
-first half of 2009 turgay gdp decline by 10%
yet miraculously the turgay gdp increases...
turkish efficiency?
hell yes.
