99.9% of the "cute" applications in Facebook are for identity theft and/or grabbing your personal information and selling them to the people/organizations who may be interested.

I have removed all non-Facebook applications from my account a long time ago.

thats why i dont bother putting up personal information in networking sites, especially facebook where the audience is far more diverse than orkut.

regular info like name, schooling is all i give. No info about address, current job etc. But thats more to do because the ppl in my frend list already know me and are either school frends or ppl i have met personally, i think trouble starts whn you randomly add any ppl to your frend list.
