i am interested to see what wide ranging comments will come from a full spectrum of turks on this forum be they islamist or secular this article is a slap in the face to all stereotypes and runs contrary to what my understanding of turkeys internal political/social situation was it both praises and criticises secualrists and islamists while suggesting a moderate path of reconciliation where by turkey can remain secular and embrace Islam similtaniously however the akp is not the answer as the article clearly states the MHP with its turkish identity first conservative values second can indeed reconcile the kemalists and islamists enabling turkey to expand her influence on all front your OPINIONS will be much apreciated please NO FLAMMING im trying to get an intellectual civilised open discussion here on waff

what we need is the pure Turk perception, we don't need any synthesis. MHP is a lame nationalist party, there is no any other nationalist party on earth come up with ideas like synthesis.


For Turks, the homeland isn't Turkey, nor yet Turkistan. Their country is a vast, eternal land: Turan!
