nah,its an over saturated market for such vehicles.the market at the moment is leaning towards the

"bushranger"type vehicles which offer more protection against ied"s and mines.imo opinion turkey is wasting resources and time with developing more types of vehicles than she needs,theres the pars and others,,sometimes what turkey does  doesnt make rational sense.

yasin,most of the different companys have the same owner/share holders/interest groups.

they mostly all use state funds and consecesions and profit without even having to sell anything.

they dont even contribute taxes to the national economy.most were infact created by grants from the turkish tax payer.

The Ejder is a piece of schit, but its a cheap alternative for military forces which cant afford or dont need a best in class wheeled APC.

if you tally up all the duplications going on in the turkish arms industry and re channal the funds,manpower and resources (through the ssm directive)turkey could develope new inovative and niche market products.this is what i tried to tell yasin.

you could also channal impetus into projects that have lagged behind instead of duplicating.

I am positive when the Ejder has matured enough we will see them in Turkish inventory as well. At the moment the Ejder is a STANAG3 level which is protection against shrapnell and 7.62mm bullets.

The standard protection level is way too low. But the newer version has better protection level.

so the pars is -2 difference to the terrex and i mean that in troop capicty wise

Turkey currently has no tender on 8x8.

The SSM tender is about 6x6 vehicles and there the FNSS pars looks to have the best chance to be selected.

Don't get me wrong bro, I did not say the FNSS armor is bad or something.

I have no clue nor comparance data of the armor of the PARS and the new Ejder. All I say is that I like the look of the new Ejder more.

And hopefully SSM expert thoroughly examine the rest like armor, suspencion etc. etc. to take the best for our army needs.
