my name is chris and i'm american. i've been visiting this forum for years because i try to keep up on all facets of greece's development. i actually find this place to be a good clearinghouse of information on greek defense, economics, and general geo-strategic conditions between greece and turkey. the constant and hilarious flaming makes it so much better. i really feel like i know a lot of you 'characters' already, and i look forward to making some friends and busting some balls with a sledgehammer.

i'm a big fan of sid the kid and malkin though, and it was a treat watching you guys take the cup last year. pittsburgh has a kick-ass mountain bike scene too.
welcome to the forum chris.i hope that you are a positive contributor as there are enough idiots here, you dont need to look past corpus and Aietus in that department..
p.s,dont mind corpus,he just likes to hit on fresh meat.
thanks aeitus.
i'm not scared of porkusvile, i've always had a soft spot for the mentally challenged and i hope to teach him about numbers and colors someday. even a turko mind is a terrible thing to waste.
@ gk
you guys are losing to NJ as we speak and the sabes are fighting it out with tampon bay. i hope we knock you out of 1st place in the east :D it's october after all, thats when the sabres SHIIIINE!
i think i would have used the hyphen if i were born in greece, or was raised by immigrants and spoke greek. i guess its just a distinction i draw. i know i'm greek, do i feel the need to advertise it with a hyphen? not especially.
my father was the son of two greek cypriots who moved to london in the 1930's. he was born in the london subway during a german bombing raid in 1941. after the war the family picked up and moved to canada, and shortly after to the united states. my mother, being an innocent farm girl, fell for his charms.
every american has a story of how they got here, and the greek ones are usually good. my family history was blown by the winds of 20th century war and i think thats why i've always been so into geopolitics.
hahaha I hate the Leafs. I take the Sabres overe the Leafs every time they play. But the Leafs have the biggest fan base in the NHL and make the most money (by far). If we take the Bills, it's because of $$$ Maple syrup or not, Toronto is about a billion times nicer than Buffalo.
toronto is clean. not exactly my cup of tea in a metropolis, no offense.
when i was in architecture school i was doing a project where i had to drive to toronto every weekend and document the progress of daniel leibeskind's addition to the ROM. i usually dragged a friend or two up with me and made a good time of it. canadians really are the friendliest people on earth... who speak english anyway.
i can't believe you root for the sabres, i mean you gotta be gassin me. if you hear hoofbeats in the night, its the mounties coming for you cause i dropped the dime.
Welcome Chris, you crack me up with your prespective on Toronto/Buffalo characteristics. I have to say you do speak some truth when you refer to the Argonauts and howf our "clean city" may not be your cup of tea.(my words)
At least Toronto is only about an hour or less away from Toronto if I do the driving.
Speaking of the Maple Laughs, I've stopped watching them at least 5 years now. Very sad state of affairs here in Hogtown.
Anyways enjoy this forum and give these turxos hell.
