ANKARA, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Abdullah Gul will pay an official visit to Serbia on Sunday to seek cooperation with the country in maintaining stability in the Balkan region, Turkey's Presidential Press Center announced Saturday.

Gul's visit, which is upon the invitation by Tadic, will be the first official visit of a Turkish president to Belgrade since 1986.
