I do not recommend ibuprofen (this drug is an NSAI) alcohol combination as it may even cause acute gastritis or stomach bleeding. The best way to recover from a hangover is to consume plenty of water in my opinion.

Well, you're not supposed to take it with alcohol. But at least 4-5 hours after the fact it'd work perfectly to pretty much get rid of ANY pain you might be having. It's strength at 800 mg is exactly like your over the counter Advil x 80. I used it for a few days for a pretty fvcked up root canal infection, which caused not only the worst toothache in the history of mankind but also headaches that were impossible to bear.

It's definitely an overkill for a simple hangover but all I'm saying it that it'll get rid of it within minutes.

Still not a good idea as both ibuprofen and alcohol are metabolized in the liver. I mean making a habit of taking alcohol with ibuprofen or taking ibuprofen to recover from a hangover is not a good idea.

I've tried all kinds of stuff over the years, the only thing that works consistently is huge amounts of water. Drink about 2 gallons of water within like 8 hours and it will help. Eat something too, even if you don't want to.

when we got back to base my plt sgt asked how much i had to drink and made me throw up.all i could think of "what a waste of good booze"

he came to my dorm an hour before revellie to make sure i was ok and had the warrant officer with him to charge me if i wasnt.to his amazement i was already up,showered and shaved and ready to rock and roll.i was 24 at the time and im buggered if i could do that again.

My worst one would of been at my schoolies trip at the end of year 12. polished off 2 bottles of gin. the first bottle i took it easy but the second bottle I had in shots in about half an hour I was going shot for shot with 3 different mates at the same time. that night I couldn't sleep cos everytime I went to bed the room would start spinning so I'd get up and walk around the streets in nothin but my jocks till i felt like i wouldnt spin out... did that 3 times before I could get to sleep. looking back I probably just should of made my self throw up. the next day was a killer. we were in mirrimbula btw. stayed for a week, our hotel was like 30 meters from the beach and the only day we got decent weather i was too fvcked to go to the beach :D

I have full examinations once a year (usually on February) including organs... I gave up on smoking years ago, except for some nargile which is a great habit of mine, but I do drink a lot. So far, my organism is taking it well. I'm not against slowing down if health calls for it, but just not yet... I'm 25 anyway...

What the hell is nargile? I quite smoking 28 years ago, although I restarted 6 years ago after my father passed away. I was working getting his home ready to sell and he lived 4 hours away from me. Every friday after work I'd throw my sleeping bag in the car and take off, spend the weekend painting and working on his farm house mostly by myself. Started smoking to fight the fatigue. But I quit again after a year. Was tougher to quit the second time.

I have a glass of dilued wine or a beer every night. That's it. Avoid the hard spirits except for a glass of ouzo on Oxi day once a year. Excess drinking is bad for you, my ex brother in law is a walking dead man. He won't be alive a year from now and he's only 45.

Proof is half a percent of alchol.

100 Proof is 50% alcohol. Far too high to enjoy.

50% is fine for me. Ouzo (good brands) are usually at 46, but homemade ones can be up to 60.

Rock in Greece only flourished in limited levels in late 80's and early 90's. Music is one of the few factors I do not feel proud of the modern days of our nation, nowadays it's way too commercial crap, American wannabe girls and fake Rap.
