You should read something about Stanag levels... Otokar Cobra Stanag protection level is apparent... If you want more protection, You should choose something more heavier and different class tahn light armoured vehicle...
Otokar Kaya
Otokar Kale can provide better protection than Cobra... If costumers want more protection level than Cobra does has, Their wishes will be our technology... That's nothing wrong or false...

Otokar Cobras have designed primerily to protect crews against high explosives IED's... That was the requirement of Turkish army to use those vehicles in S. East against PKK... If costumers demand more protection for Cobra, It is possible to add extra side armours for Cobra's as well like Slovenia required for their Cobra's...

Cobra was hit with heavy machine-gun probably 20 mm gun of BTR.I don`t think that Turks should use
as advirtisement their use in Georgia...

Otokar has worked very well for the Georgian . When i seen them pictures of the destroyed Otokar . It actually has done its job very well . 50 cal rifle can even penetrate any tank and any amour personal carrier , compare to the American Hummers which get destroyed by a molotov ..
