Since our government turns a blind eye to terorist activities under in the name of Kurdish rights, they should get a medal for their achievements.

Last night a bus passenger was severely wounded when Kurdish "protesters" (read terorists) threw molotovs to passing busses. A girl of 16 will have to carry the marks for the rest of her live now, thank you AKP be proud!

You Turks have no right to accuse other people of barbarism. When you used the Kurds to slaughter the Armenians of eastern Anatolia on your behalf it was OK, now that they have turned against you, you are angry.

Well, excuse me but you get what you deserve.

Greek/Turkish rivalry aside, let me express sympathy for the victims. Targeting civilians is the most cowardly, disgusting act anyone can do. Hopefully no one was killed.

@GK87

Finally a greek speaking some sense, making a stark contrast with official greek policy vis a vis the pkk, considering her administration flagrantly supported pkk leadership for many years.

This portrait is not an isolated one though. So many french, british, canadian and many children, women and innocents irrespective of gender, ethnicity, nationality have been slain in pretext of kurdish rights. what TR is dealing here is a low culture lacking sheer human empathy, the building block of civilized society.

I dont think the kurds, with their current breadth of citizenship rights they already are enjoying today, deserve positive segregation for following reasons:

1/ A newspaper reported 4 patients got killed in a hospital some time back. The fire scene investigation determined direct negligence at the part of the hospital staff (state hospital) The hospital asked 400 YTL or so per patient as nighthly rooming fee!

2/ 2 years back a 5-6 yrs old girl fell in the sewege system in the ghettos of Istanbul because the sewege steel cap was "stolen/removed/???" by whoever or for whatever reason...the child drowned! The subcontractor responsible for taking necessary safety precautions during cosntruction was (1) initially banned from all public tenders by court order (2) within 4 months of the court order their status was reinstated by the Turkish Justice System...

3/ A month after the first incident another child was drained into sewege system and her body was washed out to open sea of marmara. Mayor of Istanbul denied responsibility by putting the blaim on theft!

4/ 3 years a go a family of 8 was slain in a car accident on the Mersin-Adana highway where a ridge of 4mts width and 7meters depth was dug up for construction on one of most heavily trafficed artery linking the two cities...No signalization was deemed necessary and the driver dived into his death with his family! The State Transportation Authority denied responsibility and the traffic police report found the dead driver responsible for succumbing to gravity and letting nature's laws take charge in most gravest of set of circunstance.

5/ 22,000 thousand Turkish citizens got killed in 1999 earthquake, where already pre-determined fault lines were unanimuously voted and transferred from their marked positions to some other location...just so that our curropt bureaucracy could pave the way for residential development right on top of such fault lines. People died! And yet our ultranationalist secretary of health Surgeon general of the Nationalist Party MHP, turned down the US 6th fleet humanitarian support off the coast of Marmara! But our state could find it in her moral system, demanding "shroud money" from the relatives of the dead! A state severing itself from accountability for the lives of her citizens is swiftly stepping in to settle the balance so the citizens it had failed can finally be allowed proper burial!

The list can go on forever. So what the f uck are we talking about? What kurdish right or what citizenship right you are not enjoying TODAY that I as another Turkish national, am enjoying and you are denied you are resenting?

This is a f ucked up country, a moral free zone and a rough, unforgiving society we call Turkiye...

these statements make me a traitor?...any Turk (predominantly diaspora) fooling around in this forum so much as hint resentment or label me one may as well go a head nd screw himself for a nation/state refuting the basic human rights of LIFE, COMMON LIBERTIES AND PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS can only be a dismal extension of the old "SICK MAN" OTTOMAN HERITAGE...we descend from.

85 years of Republic experience all circling the drain...all means nothing!

Greeks: Relish!

@ Proxima :

Youre right and im not blaming this on a certain party (AKP) but im blaming all responsible elements(legislative, executive, judiciary)for allowing such acts.

A change is not something that can be done by politicians but only by the effort of the people themselves.
