Greece & Israel Partnership: Joint CSAR Exercise
drills will involve the IDF using their Super Stallion choppers and it will be carried out in the at the Hellenic Air Force Center of Aircraft Tactics (KEAT) and the School of Weapons Tactics (ΣΟΤ) based at Andravida HAFB.
Moreover the drills will involve CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) missions in a an environment saturated with a variety of surface to air missile systems (SAMs). I guess those could possibly include SA-15 (Tor-M1) SHORADS which Greece and Iran has acquired and was also evaluated in the NATO exercise "Trial Spartan Hammer '05", at the same location.
