Does a Retard operate that website ?

On 12 June 1992, a Greek Mirage F-1C crashed during a dogfight with a Turkish F-16 piloted by Capt. Ilhan Filiz.

On 8 October 1996, a Greek Mirage-2000 piloted by Thanos Grivas shot down a Turkish F-16D with a Magic IR missile.

Just two days after that murder, on 10 October 1996 a Greek Mirage-2000 crashed close to Semadirek island after a dogfight with two Turkish F-16s.

Point of the story is: TUAF saved itself two missiles.

On May 23rd 2006, Two Greek F-16 fighters Scrambeled to intercept two Turkish F-16s that was escorting a Recon aircraft over the southern Aegean, After a short Mock-dogfight the Greek F-16 colided into the Turkish F-16. Turkish Pilot Lieutenant Halil Ibrahim Φzdemir Ejected safely while the Greek pilot Lieutenant Konstantinos Kakkavas died instantly.

On December 4th 2007, a Greek F-16C participated in a night exercise in the Sporades archipelago, the pilot Lieutenant Athanasios Batsaras lost orientation thinking he was gaining altitude instead flew his aircraft into the sea. Athanasios Batsaras body was found latter on by a Turkish frigate which responded to the emergency call.

Point of the story is: Greeks don't know how to Fly.

On June 3rd 2003, a Greek F-16 block 30 Piloted by Captain Theodoros Pliatsikas crashed when a Bird was sucked into the air intake causing Engine Failure. Captain Theodoros Pliatsikas however was lucky enough to Eject and survived the incident with minor injury.

On June 4th 2009, a single seater Greek F-16 block 50 crashed in Ioannina after the plane ingested a bird. The pilot managed to eject from the plane with minor injury.

Point of the story is: Birds 2 Greeks -2 F-16s

Yep, it is. The conclusion I draw from that picture is that someone sucks big time at graphics editing. And I am not saying that just about the funny colour of the fires and smoke (it looks as if it's been done on Microsoft Paint with air-brush effect, lmao). I mean, check the surroundings. There's a war going on, the parliament is aflame and there are buses and heavy traffic in Vasilissis Sofias street and people tending to their business and cafes for some relaxation in Syntagma Square [linked image] [linked image] [linked image] [linked image]

In fact there's a hidden pun in that. It's as if the Griks are so used to Turkish pwnage in the Aegean, Cyprus and elsewhere that they go along with their lives even when their parliament is under borbardment. Getting chitted on by the Turks is a daily norm to them. happy.gif

Romulus i know you since i had been a member of the previous forum and i refuse to believe that you pretend to be somebody else however keep something in mind , i think that you are willing to agree with the Turks very easily and your admire Turkey much more than it is  really needed.

Turks are our enemies we need neither to admire nor to agree with them, when something wrong is going on about our country, we are the only ones not the Turks or anybody else to point out the wrongdoings.

This is what Hellenas -Tourkosporos had been doing all this time he was admiring Turkey their military, their economy and everything else, and he never said anything positive about Greece. I dont know if you are interested in following his steps. I hope not.

I am not admiring the Turks or praising them... but they have done better than us in various sectors including long-term planning and strategic objectives and we need to acknowledge that rather than dismiss it if we are to go forward.

The facts IMHO are as follows:

We are heading on collision course with Turkey regarding:

i) Oil exploitation (Aegean sea)
ii) Cyprus question
iii) engineered question of muslims in Thrace

The situation in more detail as far as I am concerned is that Turkey is not satisfied with current situation in Aegean i.e near total control of Aegean shipping lanes/exit to mediterranean + potential aegean sea oil by Greece.

She is trying to creat a de facto denial of current legislation regarding the above: i.e 12nm, lausanne treaty etc.

She wishes to engineer a situation where Greece is brought to the negotiating table. There are various cards she can play including: Theological school of Chalki, Ecumenical patriarchate of COnstantinople etc etc

These of course are bargaining chips to sweeten the deal which of course involves loss of soverignty in AEgean sea in exchange for - looseining the noose around our neck in Thrace, solution for cyprus etc

Greece is playing a game which IMHO is not completely correct. She is playing the game of pacifying Turkey, playing the international card, the EU card, the good boy card.. this is OK if is is short-term and diversionary however it is not. It is the core of our strategy vis a vis Turkey.

Why do I believe this is the wrong strategy? simply put it is because Turkey is developing the appropriate counter-strategy to our strategy and we are not developing and effective counter-countery-strategy.

What do I mean?

Turkey is up-arming and developing independence militarily hence our diplomatic card: veto in EU, UN sanctions etc etc in case of war will be ineffectual inasmuch as Turkey with her superior military force may engineer de facto situations in Aegean such as what we have seen in Cyprus since 1974....

The correct approach may well be diversionary in the short term but needs to be backed-up by long-term strategic goals. I do not see Greece wiht long term strategic milirary planning. This does not mean of course necessarily not buyin off the shelf. However this does mean a certain consideration to military procurement.

For instance the following are unacceptable for the greek military in 2010:

- no U214 TURKISH ANSWER = 6 U-214
- no ammo for LEO TURKISH ANSWER = LEO2A4 WITH AMMO + ALTAY
- no replacmeent for G3 TURKISH ANSWER = DOMESTIC RIFLE
- no modern IFV/APC TURKISH ANSWER = DOMESTIC IFV
- no new generation fighter contract TURKISH ANSWER = F35 (100 UNITS +)
- no maritime patrol aircraft TURKISH ANSWER = 9 CN-25
- deficient/out-dated helicopter fleet TURKISH ANSWER = HUGE HELO FLEET AND MODERN
- deficinecies in integrating russian equipment (S300,Zubr)
- no contract for upgrading F-16 fleet and M2000 fleet yet TURKISH ANSWER = UNIFORM CCIP FLEET
- no contract yet for FREMM or otherwise future frigate TURKISH ANSWER = MILGEM TF2000
- apache fleet not yet upgraded, not enough longbow radar, no radar-guided hellfire missiles TURKISH ANSWER = T129
- insufficient numbers of modern howitzers TURKISH ANSWER = FIRTINA

without answers to the above questions **URGENTLY** I am afraid we are heading for a bad surprise.

Romulus, you're making a big mistake file. Griks here cannot stand the truth. Anyone who's in fact sensible and not delusional is punished by expulsion from the Grik group. Even though you're a "sweet talker" from our point of view, we Turks think you're the worst kind of Hellenic Hophop. We don't like Griks who smack some reality into their deluded compatriots. We want you all to be blind to the reality. If you keep messing up our plans, we'll have to support your fellow Hophops and help them throw you out of their group.

It's actually The Turks who got Hellenas kicked out. Do not fvck with us. [linked image]

This is how smart the Greeks are, ladies and gentlemen I give you the spokesman for the LAOS party in Greece after the latest bombing in Athens:

"The Representative of LAOS, Mr. Kostis Aivaliotis said: "Domestic terrorists may have taken the idea from the website of the Turkish arms company? ROKETSAN?, Which, as presented on the electronic bulletin www.defencenet.gr, showing the Parliament Building in flames. On the contrary strengthens the morale and determination to address the undermined."

@miki

I believe these plans are orchestrated by kemalist military-elite, this is their overall geo-strategic goal, Turkey has long term strategic goals look at Cyprus for example.. everyone says it is a failed state but nearly 40 years on turkey is de facto in control .. and unles some compromise solution eg a federation (already a loss for the greek cypriots)will continue partitioned staus quo and eventually de jure state of its own...

I also believe, kemalist military startegic goals reflect the precarious sitiation of the current borders between greece and turkey - i.e greece has managed to hold for this time whole agean sea almost totally with the potential to block off the dardanelles and status of the straights completely if she wants by declaring 12nm - hence casus belli - this is OK for Greece, but think of the TUrks looking from their mainland to greek islands 2 miles off their shores that they cannot go to... again this is OK but only if you have the ace of spades in your pack of cards, which is military might to enforce these border lines. So far it is questionable if we have this force (see Imia crisis, FIR violations, cyprus etc)

Oh lets not forget the Greek Forest fires started by MIT.. LOL..

Corpus posts a picture of a burning Greek parliament in WAFF, defencenet takes it over and says it was displayed on Roketsan's website, a bomb explodes just outside the Greek parliament, a LAOS representative comments on the picture saying the terrorists could have taken the idea 'from roketsan's website', while in fact it was Corpus who made the picture. what has happened clearly is as follows:

some idiot at defencenet either because he is a true idiot, or irresponsible or corrupt and just wants to bump up hit rate at expense of quality of journalism with the standard 're malaka just throw it in who cares?' kind of attitude...

ends up completely humiliating the nation of greece with this article...

in addition another idiot.. SPOKESMAN OF LAOS = party with 6% of greek vote...
equally :

IRRESOPONSIBLE
THOUGHTLESS

who do not even think to check ? to confirm?

it did not evne enter his mind whether it was piossible for ROKETSAN!!! a respectable company to create an official advertisment with the greek parliament on fire and their corporate logo in front....

same attitude 'just throw it in re malaka who cares?'

THE FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. WE ARE HOPELESS..

It is well known in the Greek defence media that defencenet.gr is a joke since day one. Basically, it combines the life style - gossip mentality of the life style magazines with defence matters.

Just like paparazzi magazines make out stories about VIPs out of nothing, just to impress and to sell more.

This is exactly what defencenet is doing for years.

So, I do believe they knew that this is photoshoped, however they decided to post it just to boost the eyeballs on their site. And they made it... In other words, the end justifies the means...

It's just so funny man. I'm like, are you fvcking serious? I had no idea some retard would take it out of WAFF and publish it on Defencenet.gr and another idiot, a LAOS politician, give reference to it in one of his moronic public speeches. This is how you certify stupidity in real life. We're very much delighted to see that the vast majority of Griks are indeed medically retarded, including your politicians.

So I'm thinking. If I were to actually TRY making a more photo-realistic image (this one was intended for fun while I was having a beer), and time its publication well as to make it fall within an escalated tensions period, and send it to one of the baboons on Defencenet as a "concerned Grik", could I get the MoD of Greece to make a complete assclown of himself as well?

defencenet.gr is not the vast majority of Greeks. Its a bunch of morons who do this deliberately just to boost their sales or the eyeballs on their site. I happen to follow closely all the greek defence media for years and it is not by coincidence that all of them averse defencenet.gr. In fact, they did behave like that in the past as well. They used a french photoshoped Mirage 2000-5 and presented it as the first greek Mirage 2000-5. They even used a fake SCALP image on them. They know what they are doing and that makes them worst.

Here's the retarded Grik MP from LAOS, Kostis Aivaliotis.

[linked image]

Hey Kostis!

[linked image]

You have been phranked by an idiot who saw the photo on Defencenet and told you that Roketsan made such an offensive image. Either that, or you saw it yourself and being the complete little baboon you are, decided to use it in one of your pathetic little speeches. Whatever the case is, you're a FVCKING RETARD for not confirming the validity of the claim.

Don't fret, though. You're exactly where you need to be. Stupid Griks deserve stupid politicians. wink.gif

It is a good thing we have people like you in our nation... this is what keeps us afloat.

with regard to this:

@Corpus

Aside from the joke side, without noticed it, you fell a victim of the theory of chaos...happy.gif For the mere fact that today a bomb did blast outside of the greek parliament. And I am sure that some people in Greece will not overshoot your photo.

This thought crossed my mind exactly, I wonder what sort of repercussions there will be - with regard to Roketsan, I doubt they will file a lawsuit - but what you say about chaos theory is true - very true - almost hubris/nemesis my friend.

Not my photo bro, it was thanks to OceanGoing that we have that pic. It doesn't suprise me though, DefenceNet uses alot of copyrighted images taken by turks in their magazines. Half a doxen turks could open up a lawsuit against them.

Biggest ownage in history lol

No matter the era, whichever the society, people always gaze at the stars when young. Then they stretch out their hands and try to catch them. And then one day, they realize their arms are not long enough to catch the stars, and thats when they grow up.

Corpus, a forumer from Waff fooled a grik politician and this thing made it to news in Grikistan (banana republic) happy.gif
