We should put a few "jenissary's" outside dolmabahce palace instead of the ones we have now. It would look so much better.

Even the Gayreeks have guards in traditional clothing outside their parliament, albeit stolen Turkish tradition with an added skirt symbolising the Gayreek touch .

And not just the dolmabahce palace.

White House counterterrorism chief John Brennan: Certainly his location there outside of the capital raises questions. We are talking to the Pakistanis about this. Cool pictures but this is turkish republic and not ottomans anymore.

these kind of clothes belong to museum or history days celebretions.

The Soldiers infront of dolmabahce palace showing new turkish strength and representing modern republic. putting them there with traditional ottoman clothing would be a wrong signal to europeans which already think turkey is backwards..

competing vatican state (lol) with a real republic like turkey is to funny..sorry

India in its history never had any contact with turkey. so i dont know what you tried on us, maybe your lies. BTW what happened to your "turks are mongol" theory? You are white when it pleases you and mongol when it does.

So when did these janisaaries get their freedom eh?

I doubt you read any history at all you sh!tskinned indian sandnigger, the yeniceris were forbidden to marry any women thus eliminating the fact that they could reproduce. During Süleymans time their numbers were +-35,000. They were after all elite soldiers and not in big numbers. Do your homework better next time when you get interested in our magnificent history you poor starving dog.

" doubt you read any history at all you sh!tskinned indian sandnigger, the yeniceris were forbidden to marry any women thus eliminating the fact that they could reproduce."

LOL!! dark skinned sand eater, why so serious? Your camel run away with another man?

the janissaries were nothing more than slaves, hence they were forbidden to marry (gives rise to the speculation that they could be involved in homosexuality to satisfy their carnal needs). Their numbers were replenished from white christian children kidnapped by muslims, the children were mostly from the balkans and other vassal states viz. Hungary, Bulgaria etc etc etc.

"During Süleymans time their numbers were +-35,000. They were after all elite soldiers and not in big numbers."

massacaring civillians doesnt count as elite, whenever the ottomans faced decent armies they ran with their tail between their legs. In the siege of Viena they were massacred like the pigs they were by the charge of Hussarria.

"Do your homework better next time when you get interested in our magnificent history you poor starving dog"

you starving kebab sniffing mongrels did not even have a country to call your own before 1453, how can you darkie sand dwellers even have a magnificient history?

The only history you darkies have is of getting enslaved and turkified by the invading central asian nomads during the time of genghiz khan.

You do know how you anatolians got the name turkey, dont you?

Going by that logic we should also stop playing Turkish instruments and music which stemmed from the Ottoman era.

Dont try to twist my words baklavali!

Art/music is something different than Representation of a State.

Those Guards representing the turkish republic and it would send the wrong signal to the world when they put some ottoman clothes on.

It is absolutly against founding idea of Republic of turkey (yurtta sulh cihanda sulh!)

Ottomans founding idea was conquering in the name Allah. Both doesnt fit to eachother! Like the deccal said.

^^Idiot

Ottomans failed because they was HYPOCRATS!

they preach NON nationalism but secretly forced their turkish nationalism to others.

The christians was pissed because the forcing of islamic taxes to them

the araps was pissed because of forcing turkish culture to them (ottomans was kafirs in the eyes of strong believing muslim araps. they never accepted your fake khalifat)

face it, turks begun to loose their islamic identity and share western life style long before kemaliszm was invented.

todays korts are pissed because retardogan tell them that kemalist force turkish language to them...lol

erdogan helping pkk to devide turkey...
