From the latest hints that Murad Bayar gave during a speech recently we can deduce that Turkey is seriously considering to partner BAE systems on the GCS for her TF2000 project. It becomes more and more likely to see something like the French-Italian FREMM program in which both countries have their own versions of the base design.
Turkey would have her own GCS (Global Combat Ship/TF2000) with Genensis + CAFRAD

The Next Generation Frigate project will depend on your economic performance this year. Such giant budget projects go on par with economic indicators. Same applies for S-70i, LHD and F-35 military projects.

We ordained therein for them: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose or nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal." But if any one remits the retaliation by way of charity, it is an act of atonement for himself. And if any fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (No better than) wrong-doers.

Is there any word on what form the GCS will take? I really liked the two ship idea muted a while ago with an smaller version of the USN's LCS and a mothership type design capable of launching lots of UCAV/UAV's. With Turkey appearing to be one of the more advanced European nations in this arena i can see her being a logical partner if they did go down this road.
Unfortunately though when you look at the recent MOD record I can see GCS ending up as an expensive compromise that never fulfils the good initial ideas. I'll be very happy to be wrong though...

Speaking of the Eurofighters close-in combat prowess, Major Marc Grne, CO of 742 (Zapata), the second squadron of the wing, described to assembled aviation journalists how, on a recent visit to France to demo the aircraft, he had won two out of two battles against the Dassault Rafale in mock within visual range dogfights. Both fights were a standard set-up and merge at 21,000ft and 30,000ft he recounted, adding that the higher the fight the better the Eurofighter liked it. He singled out the Eurofighters excess power as its trump card over the Rafale
