Airbus A350XWB(extra wide body) is on production right now and it is the Airbus answer to the Boeing's 787 Dreamliner
A350XWB can fly from istanbul to Los Angles or Sydney non stop .
Due to its low weight composite material used body plane is more fuel efficient,economical and eco friendly .
This body design also helps and lowers the price of repair on the body in case of damage.
600 companies from 30 different countries work together to design the Airbus A350XWB
One of these companies is TAI which designed the Ailerons for the A350XWB.
Maiden flight of the jet is planned for the end of 2013 and first deliveries will be in 2014.Airbus plans to produce 10 planes a month after 2017.
There will be 3 different models for the A350XWB design ,800,900 and 1000 their seating capacity changes between 250 to 370 and 800 model will be able to fly non stop Istanbul to Sydney or Los Angles
There are 549 order's for the plane all ready .
TAI will be one of the companies that produce parts for the A350XWB . Tai joined the project 3 years ago . Tai's 300 engineer designed the Aileron's of the A350XWB and recently the first aileron's has been delivered to Airbus . All of these parts will be produced in Turkiye and the project will be around 520 Million Dollar.
Simon Ward From Airbus said " Tai provided these important part of the plane as designer and producer . We see Tai as a partner in this project and hope to do more business in the future."
TAI provides 300 million dollar worth parts for Boeing and Airbus annually and plans to expand its share more.
