Those masturbators cannot even provide timely CAS support for Mehmetcik in their ongoing insurgency or intercept a solitary Israeli violating aircraft which they could not even identify. They are not even even masters of their own national territory, they should demand their leaders leave the Aegean aside if they want to still live. A conflict with Greece will not be good for your Narco-terrorist military.

Why is vaseline in my sig? Because Turks don't want to read what I post. Hopefully the lube makes it easier for those criminal scum who are such great cry-babies to swallow.

Turks have a very good Naval Aviation, there is no doubt about that.

@Turks have a very good Naval Aviation, there is no doubt about that.

They have no other option. Our islands are full of Radars-NVG-Flirs-ESM-ECM-Soldiers with binoculars-inocent fishermen looking around etc, we have 24/7 picture of anything sails in Aegean. Turks need an extensive fleet of flying platforms to even monitor 50% of Aegean.

However we need some modern ASW planes for to fill the gap East of Rhodes and south or Crete. Of course it is questioanable if these platforms will be able to fly during war crisis.

ATR 72600

Air Nostrum ATR-72-600 at Palma de Mallorca Airport.
On Tuesday 2 October 2007, ATR CEO Stéphane Mayer, announced the launch of the new 600 series aircraft at a Press Conference held in Washington, D.C..

The new ATR 42600 and ATR 72600 will feature the latest technological enhancements while building upon the well-known advantages of the current aircraft, namely its high efficiency, proven dispatch reliability, low fuel burn and operating cost. It will include the new PW127M as standard engine (new engines provide 5% additional thermodynamic power at takeoff, thus improving performance on short runways, in hot weather and at high altitude. The incorporation of the boost function enables use of this additional power as needed, only when called for by the takeoff conditions.), glass cockpit flight deck featuring five wide LCD screens that will replace the current EFIS (Electronic Flight instrument System). In addition, a multi-purpose computer (MPC) will further enhance Flight Safety and operational capabilities. The new avionics, to be supplied by Thales, will also provide CAT III and RNP capabilities. It will also include the new lighter and more comfortable seats and larger overhead baggage bins. The 600 series ATR aircraft were introduced during the second half of 2010.[7][8] The ATR 72600 Series launch customer is Royal Air Maroc Express (deliveries begin in July 2011).

Using a temporary test registration F-WWEY[9] the prototype ATR 72600 first flew on 24 July 2009; it had been converted from an ATR 72500.[10]

It was announced on 19 October 2011 that Air New Zealand will spend around $340 million on purchasing 12 new ATR 72600 to add to their regional fleet which already includes 11 ATR 72-500s[11]. The first plane should arrive in October 2012.

atr72 will be produced on 600 configration

a few things to keep in mind,
1.v22 costs at least twice as much as other rotary winged aircraft.
2.turkey has adequate numbers of chopers and is mostly interested in either ch47's or 53's.
to which a v22 purchase would seem unlikely
3.given turkish purchase dates and duration of process it will be at least 2055 by the time you get them if ever.
