Let stand NATO. Syria won't last a day against the Turkish Armed Forces. I'm not a big fan of war but we really need to learn a lesson to Syrians. I'm a supporter of a quick hit and run attack on Syria. Bombing its military facilities and letting the free Syrian finish it.

Additionally NATO could provide some help to finish the job. Turkey still waits with a definite response but my predictions are, if Syria did this on purpose, Turkish trust for Syrian government will vanish. Before air strikes on Syria, a buffer zone will establish with the purpose of defending for a counter attack from the Syrians.

They (Syrians), are not a pice of cake to just munch down... If you deploy troops in a buffer zone, they would simply SCUD the hell out of that area. You need way more bombers to eliminate the syrian threat. Most of there AA is apparently based in west. But still a big territorie to clear out.

You understimate Syria at your own peril, we will lose thousands of men and equipment and it will be long difficult battle!
