Prophecy of St Kosmas : 'if the war starts from underneath...'

Romulus  (Login romulus007)

basically what St Kosmas is saying is that

'once you hear about the war starting from underneath then it is nearly time'

however

'if the war starts from above then you will be destroyed(the greeks)'

'if the war starts from underneath then you will be OK (The greeks)'

what does he mean?

well from 'underneath' or below' he means South .. in other words Syria etc

so if the war starts from Syria (as it looks like) then Greece will be OK

if the war started from above (Balkans? Russia?) then Greece will be destroyed

makes perfect sense if interperted along with the prophecies of elder paisios

- before the armageddon food will be of great value (already happening in Greece now)
- Greeks will suffer a lot (already happening)
- you will hear about the war 'underneath' this means it is almost there (the end times) : war in syria etc
- if war breaks out in syria and turkey then greece will be OK
- the europeans will come and fight + USA but they will be destroyed by the 'Kings of the East'
- the passage of the Kings of The East will be ensured by the Turks closing the attaturk dam
- at the last minute russia will save greece
- 1/3 of the turks will be destryed, 1/3 will be baptized and 1/3 will go to the red apple
- russai will give constantiniople to greece (out of necessaity)
- the population of constantinople will collaborate with the greeks gratefully because they are not all hardcore kemalist or islamists

I know what you want, thes na kaneis xabale.

it all right if you want to have fun with those "prophecies", but remember that you give plenty of ammunition to the Turks of this site.

There are many other amusing issues to post about.

@gavuryunan

I am nto saying I do not have my reservations also about these prophecies - as I am sure you do from your reply - however they are in the very least ineresting how so many hundreds of years ago these things were written down and now one by one they are being realized or at lease becoming very likely (Eg closing of the euphrates by Turkey)

IlgarD:

Romulus does NOT believe in this nonsense, he is just pulling your leg. He is a LOT smarter than that. I am surprised nobody calls his hoax!

We all know that Jesus Christ will not bless our artillery shells so that they fall accurately on the Turkish heads, and he will not curse the Turkish shells, so that they miss the Greek trenches.

PS: You are NOT 15.

The Red apple is a location/area.
in the past i did some research as to where this might be and im 9o% certain thats its in the euro asian caucuses.if i had to be more precise i'd say it an area from eastern khazakstan towards afghanistan.
in other words the turks will migrate as a result of the war into the caucuses, alas your dream of a turanist empire will come to pass but not in the way you envisage.

As regards the drying of the euphrates river where the army of the east marches towards the west to fight the world government based in jerusalem, this will occur during the 4th world war.the river will be bone dry due to the diverted water from asia minor damns which send the water southwards to the new eretz israel.there will also be a mega drought that contributes to this.
An army of 200 million men will march west from the east.(china, japan, india(main))

I am hard core atheist. But I think prophecy is a valid, even an important topic to discuss. The "Christian Right" in the USA, who have much influence, are themselves influenced by biblical prophecy. Perhaps, this influence appears in some policies, like unconditional support for Israel in preparation of the rapture, or viewing the EU as the anti-Christ or whatever. [linked image]

The Religious Right has given very strong support to the state of Israel in recent decades, encouraging the United States government to support Israel and treating Israeli international relations as a holy war against Islam.[76] Some have linked Israel to Biblical prophesies; for example, Ed McAteer, founder of the Moral Majority, said "I believe that we are seeing prophecy unfold so rapidly and dramatically and wonderfully and, without exaggerating, makes me breathless."[77]

Romulus, don't let these people discourage you from making these threads.

Red Apple would point out Almaty (Alma-ata) the capital of Kazakhistan. Elma means apple in Turkish.

I advise everybody here to watch Monty Python's film "Life of Brian".

The Greek title is "ENAS PROFHTHS, MA TI PROFHTHS!"

Boithia mas. Amen.

Dionysus1970,

I am a implicit believer and I believe everything was set by the God and all human ambition is just a waste of time. You don't believe? Go and make detailed plans about your future and watch how many of them come true.

TOROS_2000,
I did go to church as a boy but I didn't understand what the priest was saying. My understanding of Greek was poor. I also didn't go to Sunday school. So I never learnt the stories or grasped the religious concepts as a boy. The bible stories I did vaguely learn about were told to me from other children in school.

No one tells you the truth. Even if they say you don't understand without experience. Only you yourself can realize the truth. All the other stuffs (people, stories, events) may just help you to find out and priests are the last people at this point.
