Saudis forces mass on Jordanian, Iraqi borders. Turkey, Syria reinforce strength
The Syrian crisis was Friday, June 29, on a knife edge between a Western-Arab-Turkish military offensive in the next 48 hours and a big power accord to ward it off.
DEBKAfiles military sources report heavy Saudi troop movements toward the Jordanian and Iraqi borders Thursday overnight and up until Friday morning, June 29, after King Abdullah put the Saudi military on high alert for joining an anti-Assad offensive in Syria. The Saudi units are poised with tanks, missiles, special forces and anti-air batteries to enter Jordan in two heads:
One will safeguard Jordans King Abdullah against potential Syrian or Iranian reprisals from Syria or Iraq.
The second will cut north through Jordan to enter southeastern Syriam, where a security zone will be established around the towns of Deraa, Deir al-Zour and Abu Kemal all centers of the anti-Assad rebellion. The region is also the home terrain of the Shammar tribe, brethren of the Shammars of the Saudi Nejd province.
The Saudi units deployed on the Iraqi border are there to defend the kingdom against potential incursions by Iraqi Shiite militias crossing into the kingdom for reprisals. The Iraqi militias are well trained and armed and serve under officers of the Iranian Al-Qods Brigades, the Revolutionary Guards external arm.
Western Gulf sources report that Jordan too is on war alert.

It appears the two carriers (french+american) will apply a NO-FLY zone over Syria while the turks punch from the north while the western Arab allies punch from the south. The rebels will be reinforced while the Syrian army will be split to fight in multiple fronts.
Let me be a prophet :
Hezbollah restarts sending rockets to Israel while the Shiites in Irak restart operations. The Saudi Shiites will also rebel...while Iran will try to close the Arabian gulf

Actually things are becoming quite shitty for us, the Americans are going to make a formal request in the next few hours or days to use Souda base for their operations against Syria and against targets of Russian interest.
Russians hopefully will not react but if they do we will found ourselves in between 2 giants, the worst of all is that we will be forced to facilitate operations against Russian interests and in favor of Turkey.
There are very few things that can be done, of course we cannot deny anything to the Americans this would be mad even to think about it, and we will assist Turks one way or another to destabilize the area in their favor.
Who could have told us that a pseudobravado of Turkey which lead to their humiliation in conjuction with the anti Assad and Anti Russian American interests would lead us to a war adventure and Greece would play the role of the Turkish ally.
It is really a very dangerous position that we found ourselves into, but as i said there is nothing that can be done, denying assistance to the Americans is out of the question since we are NATO members.
I really feel bad for our involvement in this shitty situation but unfortunately i dont see a way to easily get out of it.

WOW..if this is true.. it must mean that the US will stay out of the conflict and allow it to be settled "regionally" I think the Turks bit off more than they chew.. and are calling for sunni allies.. does this mean that the Iranians will cross Iraq to fight with Assad?
Battle Royale..

no re it was a joke get over it, but i meant what i say about Samuel Adams which i think is the best beer i have ever tasted
i prefer light because it does not have the bitterness of the legular one and you get all the benefits in terms of taste as if you had been drinking the regular
this is what i had choosen when i had been in America, but it is a hard to find this beer and you need to do alot of search.
As they say though, opinions are like *** holes everybody can have one, which means that we must respect this diversity of opinions because our opinion is not a unique one
On the other hand if someone disagrees that Samuel Adams light is the best beer i challenge you to find a better one.
