The Dutch defence ministry is in shock after Indonesia declared she stopped plans to buy Leopard 2A6 tanks from the Netherlands, instead the Indonesians reached an accord with Germany to buy up to 100 leopard 2A6. The "moralistic" Netherlands took too long to decide whether the human rights situation in Indonesia was good enough to sell the tanks and Indonesia dropped the Netherlands for Germany as supplier.
Good news for the Griks, if you suck hard enough the Dutch may give those surplus tanks to Greece. Get on your knees!

Back to the topic, the Netherlands tried to sell the Leopard 2A6 for 2.5mln euro a piece to Indonesia, only political stall mainly due to anti Islamic party PVV caused Indonesia to look for another supplier and Germany was quick to say business is business to score the sale.
Now there is a huge concern what to do with the tanks, cause putting them on storage will cost more than the eyed reduction in defence to save money.
Turkey could probably buy them up for 1mln euro a piece at bargain, TSK should really take a look here.

Nutuk, I know you are a midget in stature and intellect. Are you trying to say anti-Islam PVV blocked Indonesia's acquisition of surplus Dutch Leopard but Turkey should try to snatch them? Well I don't blame you wishing they try, but I don't see why PVV ought not to do the same again.

If the Greeks try to get the tanks, "they suck hard". If the Turks try to get the tanks,it is a "bargain". Turkish hypocricy knows no limits.
Regarding the decision of the Indonesians:
The Dutch Parliament would give its consent , sooner or later. Indonesia is a former Dutch colony, with lots of oil and resources.
The Indonesians could do their job with the Leo-2A4 perfectly well.
The 100 Leo-2A4 tanks cost 280 million dollars.100 new German Leopard-2A6 tanks will cost Indonesia 1,2 billion dollars, based on the price of the Greek procurement. So why did the Indonesians buy new German tanks?
Answer: Bribes, bribes, bribes. The Germans are the masters of bribery. Former Greek Minister of Defence Akis Tsohatzopoulos, got more than 100 million dollals in bribes for the U214 submarines project alone. Indonesian leaders will make themselves monstrously rich.
