Electing Syriza would have been as dangerous and fatal for the nation as the election of Makarios was. Makarios was anti-military, while simultaneously trying numerous stunts like to break the blockade of Cuba, negotiate with Soviet leaders but never gain their support, vote for the recognition of China in the UN Security Council. In 1963 and 1967 the US put huge pressure and dissuaded Turkey from invading Cyprus. They changed their policy in regards to Cyprus after the UN Vote by Cyprus to recognize the People's Republic as the true representative and start supporting a Turkish invasion, instead of stopping it. And it makes total sense unlike what the idiot metapolifesi raised Greeks think about history. If you are against a country, that country will be against you too.

Now Syriza has supported cutting the military's operational capabilities and saying it is a risk they are willing to take, that they will take a chance with Turkey! Syriza has also said that their immigration policy is to negotiate with the EU to grant the the immigrants to leave to the EU country of their choosing! As part of this policy they also said they would work to end the American invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan which cause alot of immigration! They also have proposed that they will seize all bank deposits and use that to pay the debt. So if Syriza is elected, they will piss off the powerful global entities like corporations, Washington and Brussels and cut their military. Where does that get you? Invaded and militarily occupied. My advice is to grow up, study history and how the world works. Then you will understand how dangerous Syriza is.

As for the Greek tourism Minister, she should become a whore or something and get her traitor as3 out of politics. She is not supposed to promote Turkish tourism, but that is what she is doing as her first act. She should promote Greek tourism solely.

I think you're making a big deal out of nothing. The minister of Tourism was speaking in English to a Turkish news outlet. How else would she have to say Constaninoupoli in English? If she was speaking Greek she could have said "Constantinoupoli".

For example, if we Hellenes are talking to the French in English do we tell them we have visited "Gallia" many times? No, we use the modern name in English.

With regard to ND and patriotism I will point out the following:

1. PM Samaras is now forcing all Skopian vehicles which enter Greece to cover their MK plates up with a sticker which says in English and in Greece "Recognized by Greece as FYROM". Before only trucks would be forced to use this sticker, but since ND is in power every Skopian vehicle is getting this sticker. Of course the Skopian Slavs are barking about it, but fvck those gypsies. If they don't like it, they can fvck off.

2. Since ND came into power, Minister of Defense Dimitris Avramopoulos placed a large painting of the naval battle of Elli in his office. If you recall, the naval battle of Elli was when the HN established hegemony in the Aegean against the TN. The coward and Turko azz kisser Papandreou had the painting removed in order to not agitate his Turko friend FM Ismail Cem. However, since ND came to power Avramopoulos ordered the painting be placed back in its position. Naturally, the Turks are barking and pissed, but I say fvck them.

ND is infinitely more patriotic and pro-Army than the Socialist scumbags of PASOK or the traitorous and weak Communist pussies of Syriza. And as long as Golden Dawn is in parliament ND will have to go even more right and nationalist than it is natural for them.

We need to stop looking a the tree and look at the forest...a few acts of "patriotism" don't make ND patriot. They are just for the world's eyes, they are no patriots quite the contrary they are Anti-Hellenes.

You are either a patriot or not...there's no middle option and a true patriot and patriotic government is judged by ALL it's actions. And most of ND's are anti-patriotic.
