There's nothing wrong about Christianity. Actually, before the Muslims existed (in a time when the Arabs were worshipping stone statues) it was the Jews and Christians who believed in and worshipped our God (Allah = Al Ilah = The God ("The" is for stressing the strictly monotheistic (which is correct) approach of Islam.))

As such, the Jews, Christians and Muslims are the "Ahl-i Kitab" (People of the Book) according to Islam.

However, one should note that it is among the Patriarchate's duties to "spread Christianity" (ever since the institution was established) so any "recruitment efforts" or "missionary activities" should be deemed normal.
