Maria Tsagkaraki, a beautiful young lady from Heraklion, Crete and will be our countrys contestant in the 2012 beauty competition. She has been awarded Miss Crete 2009 and B Star Hellas 2010 but was never selected by Greeks as a Miss World 2012 candidate.
On Wednesday morning, she flew to distant China to prepare herself for the upcoming event. Everyone wished her good luck, but there were others who complained that she had been selected without an open contest.
