Yunan means Greek + istan

I think our Turkish elders knew what kind of caveman people Greece were. Greeks are uncultured, uneducated, lazy, stinky and backward. That is why we call it Greekistan in Turkish (yunanistan). It is the same chit place like middle-east. And soon it will return to middle-east standards and maybe even worse to African standards of living. The queen is already laughing at Greeks.....


The last 10 years Greece lived off other peoples money and held many Greek fat weddings, but soon that party is going to be crashed. Personally I don't know how long Greece will stay as a whole. Crete probably will want to separate from Gayreecestan and all the dumb Greeks will stay in the poorer west/south part of Greece.
That is in the blue parts. The other parts will be districts where Greece will loose sovereignty to debt owners..

Since their barbaric destruction of Troy they have been cursed by backwardness, shame and foreign conquest. The name "Yunanistan" is not Turkish, but Persian. You simply picked it up from the Persians along with your religion, foods, and a percentage of your language.

Yunanistan in Persian means the land of Yunan. Yunan (Ionan) is the Persian word for Ionian. This is the name Persians gave to the Ionian Greeks along the coast of Anatolia when the Persian Empire first encountered them after the fall of the Lydian Empire.

But of course you wouldn't know any of this since Turks are uneducated barbarians.

Kallifaggos is wrong as usual. We Turks call gayreeks usually rum(roman/byzantine) or yunan (ionian), usually with the suffix "pic" in the end. So it becomes "rumpici" (byzantine bastard) and yunanpici (ionian bastard). This comes from the fact that our ancestors knew already in the middle ages that gayreeks are bastards (ethiopian-albanian mix).
Turks never say just yunan or rum. It always ends with the suffix pic (singular, picler plural) in the end, meaning "bastard".
