This is it...

teh time has come, looks like greek backdoor diplomacy is working

"The latest aim is to reduce Greece's debts by a further 70-100 billion euros, several senior euro zone officials familiar with the discussions told Reuters, cutting its debts to a more manageable 100 percent of annual economic output."

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/07/27/us-eurozone-greece-debt-ecb-idUSBRE86Q0LC20120727

so this is how it works, they have obviously realised that if greece defaults then that is the end for europe and the cost will be trillions of dollars whereas they can save europe for 100 billion euros ... which is just fine hehehe

Time changing again, in the 80s and 90s Turks got many second hand military equipment free of charge. Even 80 new F-16 Turks pay anything in the 90s, now our turn to get something back. [linked image]

Financing luxury consumption of Greeks in return for nothing is quite pointless indeed. They must support starving people in Africa instead. Greeks must be disciplined by poverty.

Although that's not even comparable, Turkey and Greece received the same amount of American assistance. Even Greece received much more counting Marshall Plan. However Turkey had to protect the greatest Soviet border of NATO despite the 1/10 population disadvantage. That was even more profitable for US since Turkey has spent $350 billions for arming as well as $40 billion for commissions. Turkey could also have directed all it's economic sources to developement like Germany and Japan. Nonetheless Turkey reached the highest economic growth rate in Europe in the post-war era and now helping African countries as much as possible.

You even got 80 new F-16 in the 90s, LoL. We have pay all our F-16 and M-2000, count 80 planes less and compare after both air forces. Is that fair?

Keep dreaming, keep begging to ECB for mercy. Dreaming is only way to get through the day and begging is the only way to stay at alive for Greeks.

The 80 F-16 Block 50 that Turkey bought under the Peace Onyx II project (1996-1999) were bought by money donated by Arab countries after the Gulf War in 1991. 30 % of the Turkish F-16 fleet was bought by Arab courtesy. Without Arab donation, Greece would have 1,3:1 air superiority over Turkey.

So the Turks should stop whining about Greece receiving more foreign military aid than they do.

Back to the topic:

Not enough. They will write off at least 160 billion euros, so that Greek debt is reduced to 120 billion euros or 60 % of the GDP. If they refuse, we will write off ALL the debt by ourselves!

They have 2 choices:
1)Lose most of their money
2) Lose ALL of their money.
