A bomb struck early Monday the main export pipeline carrying Iraqi crude oil from Kirkuk fields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, cutting off flows and causing a huge fire, two Middle East shipping agents said.

The explosion took place in Mardin province, near the Turkish border with Syria, the agents told Dow Jones Newswires.
"The flow of Iraqi oil has been suspended since 0300 [local time] because of an attack against the pipeline inside Turkey," a shipping agent at Ceyhan port said, adding that it would take at least five days to repair the damaged pipeline and resume the flow.

Iraq was pumping some 360,000 barrels a day before the blast, another agent said.
Both agents knew nothing about who was behind the attack. They said there were ten international vessels at anchorage waiting for loading

what they did was very dumb and stupid this would give them a very bad reputation for the pkk terrorists group if they do keep this up they will lose a lot of credibility from north iraq, wtf are they trying to do slow down their economy down. This would be kind of a good news bad news for both sides.

LOL, PKK is shooting in her own foot as Kurds like Barzani are dependent on the oilflow through this pipeline. Turkey should simply take a month to repair the pipeline and say to Barzani, look the same Kurds you permit in the North Iraqi mountains did this it is your own fault.
