ANKARA: Kurdish rebels stormed a Turkish army post on the Iraq border on Sunday, triggering fighting that killed 22 people in the latest clash since Ankara launched a major offensive against the outlawed PKK.

Prime Minister Tayypip Erdogan condemned the attack as a dastardly act and vowed to bring the rebels in line. Six soldiers, two village guards and 14 Kurdish rebels were killed following the assault on an army post in a village in the southeastern province of Hakkari, the local governor told the Anatolia news agency.

Three of the slain rebels were women, said governor Orhan Alimoglu. Another 15 soldiers, one village guard and five civilians were wounded, according to a statement from the governors office cited by Anatolia.

The rebels from the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) launched simultaneous assaults on three border posts but the casualties occurred at a post in the village of Gecimli, the private NTV television station reported. It was the deadliest clash since June when fighting between Turkish soldiers and Kurdish rebels left 28 people dead following a similar attack on an army post in the same region. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a statement posted on the prime ministers office website, denounced Sundays attack as a dastardly act and said: Terror is doomed to failure ... sooner or later.

In a stark warning, Erdogan also said Turkey had the strength to bring into line not only the PKK but also hostile countries and environs that hold in their hands the terrorist organisations strings. He did not name those countries.

A series of similar assaults against troops in the Kurdish-dominated southeast prompted the army to launch an all-out offensive against PKK bases in the area last month.

Now that we've seen photos of Greeks suffering, back to Turkish affairs....

"The rebels from the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) launched simultaneous assaults on three border posts but the casualties occurred at a post in the village of Gecimli, the private NTV television station reported. It was the deadliest clash since June when fighting between Turkish soldiers and Kurdish rebels left 28 people dead following a similar attack on an army post in the same region."

Yes, Turkish government has a secret facility where android clones of fallen soldiers are built in. They send these androids back to the families of fallen soldiers. This is how you can hide the death of 22 soldiers from the public and their families.

Other than that, a person must be an idiot to believe PKK propaganda. They are even less credible than Greece's financial reports.

But Greeks are too retarded to understand this.

Like I said before, most of the Greek posters here have an IQ level lower than their shoe numbers.

Uktion, obviously Turkish monkeys can't read...

"Six soldiers, two village guards". were killed, but since we do not believe TurkoArab propaganda machine and we know for a fact Turko narcotics traffiker TSK to decrease Turkish casualty figures and increase Kurdish casualty figures I'll say that probably 10 Turkish soldiers got liquidated and 5 village guards smoked.

George, my gf loved Koukoubayia. We went there 3-4 times. I was playing tour guide in this trip, plus she met my family so I didn't have much time. I didn't even meet up with my friends, but next trip we'll meet up for cafe.
