Why does brother Azerbaijan suddenly seem to be in a jooish arsekissing contest with the Griks? Is there really an urgent need for an armed UAV that can't wait for 1 or 2 more years until Anka-B is ready?

They could've signed a similar contract for manufacturing armed Anka-Bs. Last time I checked, Israel didn't shut off its border or fully support Azerbaijan in its fight against Armenia.

Although it is not easy to compete against the Apache blkIII and King Cobra the T-129 may have a chance cos S. Korea want's to be as independent as possible too.

With T-129 Turkey is much more flexible in allowing Korean avionics and weaponry + share of codes than their US counterparts. But still I believe Korea is going to select Apache blk III

I dont know nutuk if my memory serves me right then the koreans have this tender as a stopgap solution for their own platform. Now if they want some technologies then they might choose atak. Otherwise apache to compare their own platform with or to have heavy and light attack choppers since they will also develop a light attack helicopter. Really dont know also the government has pressures them a little because we buy billions of weaponary(technology) from them and trade is not balanced. They want to export some too but then again USA has waaay more influence then us. Specially over there.
