Juan Manuel Fangio won the World Sports Car Championship with this car.

Carroll Shelby also raced with the 450S.

Good choice TuAf, but I don't think she would live long enough in Turgay's donkey roads

LOL happy.gif

Since most 1950s racing Maseratis cost between 3 to 4 million USD at auctions, I bet someone would "bump from behind" just to piss me off happy.gif

To be honest, I'd rather buy a yali on the Bosphorus than buying this car.

But if I were as rich as Bill Gates, I wouldn't mind buying one.

Ford GT40 is not a great car. It looks nice, but the engine itself is nothing to brag about. It just has a massive old technology engine (push-rods) burning tons of fuel. A friend of mine has one and I've seen it up close and sat in it. Build quality is crap (Ford).

For my next car I'll be looking at either a BMW M3 with the V8 engine or a Porsche 911 4S. I wish they would bring the Audi RS4 back to the USA again because that's a great car as well, albeit slower than the M3.

M3 is nice... But If I lived in the States I'd definitely go for the Z06

Rafen,

The Z06 is a good car, but to be honest with you I'm not a big fan of Chevrolet or Corvettes in general. The build quality is not as good as German cars, plus the Corvette cabin is very tight for someone like myself (1.93m).

This was my previous car, but I got rid of it because the cabin space was way too small for me, plus there was no trunk space. I would push the seat all the way back and lean the seat as far back as possible, but it was still somewhat tight. The car itself though was beautiful. It had 330HP and the interior was classic BMW with beautiful leather.

I love Ford Mustang too much. If Santa Claus ask me ' I will present to you free car what is your choose; a Lamborghini Gallardo or Ford Mustang Shelby?' I'll reply 'I would like Lamborghini. Because I can sell it and buy 3 diferent colored Mustang babies.' [linked image]
But it's only nice dream in Turkiye, because the sallary of the Mustang 100 % more expensive than USA( f.king car tax). Also annual taxes too much for its engine, you can not pay fuel price in Tukiye, too. The liter of gasoline price about 4.39 TL.

Here in the US owning a Ford Mustang is not a big deal. I have seen them up close, but I do not like them. The inside of the car has too much plastic. Handling isn't that great. The engine technology isn't anything spectacular either.

Ford Mustangs are very common on the streets here. The next car I'm going to be looking at for purchase is one of these:

1. BMW M3 with the V8 engine
2. BMW M1 inline six twin turbo
3. And finally am also starting to like the Cadillac CTS-V which produces over 500HP.

I am not buying any talian **** , cos they are shitty ...

talian cars and motorcycles .

Design perfect

Technology is high

Lots of funn ..

They are expensive

And the problem is they dont endure much ...Often electronics and mechanics go wrong ..

******************************

American cars :

Cheap

Low tech

Endure much

Steering sux for all

Generally you scare cos their grip always sux ..

*************************************

Japaneese cars

High tech

Low price

Endure for life

***************************************

I always go for German ...

I have an Audi ...

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

These audis has some problems about PCV valve system , need to take all out ..

Great grip , great brakes , nothing to say about the engine ... Burns much in city ..

I also like volvo , I had A S60 T5 , good car generally but interior is frigile , engine doesnt last 200 k , gearbox goes bum at 100k ...

Also a Grand vitara my 2009 , it is my 3rg Suzuki Vitara , never fails , great car ...

Hunnicturk : Sorry but mustang is the shitttiiieesssssttt ttttt car , I have ever seen and rid ...

The only American car should be bought is a corvette .

Kalli is right : Porche 911 4s is the ultimate car but engine life is 50 k sadly ...

German car engineering is a myth, or to be fair it is a thing of the past (Mercedes made the first step downhill by releasing the notorious SUV M-Class in the 90's).
Regarding reliability, Mercedes Audi & BMW in "Consumer Reports" are ranked below the average for 5 consecutive years and there is a good reason for it (especially for Audi and Mercedes).
