Does the new camo help with better hiding from the Kurdish freedom fighters?

This squad alone probably has more experience on the battefield than the entire Greek Armed(postcard) Forces

What's the function of the guy with the hoodie (5th from the left)? And what's the huge antenna thing strapped to his back?

He carries a mobile jammer and that suit is for protection against radiation from jammer.

Aselsan manpack RCIED jammer

Aselsan's manpack RCIED jamming system is designed to provide protection against RCIEDs for foot patrols and military vehicles. As such, it simultaneously covers a range of RCIED initiation frequencies to prevent their detonation and takes the form of a long-life battery-powered jammer/antenna assembly that is carried in a 'fully' weatherproof backpack. The system's threat envelope is further noted as including amateur and Public Access Mobile Radio (PAMR), Private Mobile Radio (PMR) and Family Radio Service (FRS) compliant radios; Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) 9000 and Digital Cellular System (DCS) 1800 compliant cellular telephones and Integrated Services Module (ISM) compliant telephones.

No kidding wink.gif He has to carry ammo, ballistic plates, helmet on his head and that thing on his back wink.gif

Although I've seen some soldiers ditch the hoodie/jacket and run with just a shirt and ballistic vest on.

Tolga , with all my regards , You know it better than me . How often soldiers use optics at SE ? In most of the pics we see Eotechs and Pythons . Is it like that in every combatant unit or just the some select ?

Sorry for the late reply, I would've posted earlier but I didn't want to post an answer while nobody else was able to.

Most pictures you see are from professional units, all professional units have most of the soldiers using an optic, although there are still some that don't use any, but their weapons usually have picatinny rails as well so they could easily attach one. In a platoon there will be 3-4 guys with Python or another thermal optic, there will be 3-4 guys with EOtech's attached, there will also be 3 or so guys with EOtech plus a x3 magnifier with night vision capabilities right behind it. The rest will either have x4/x6 night vision optics or just go old school with iron sights. Hope that answers it.
