Perseas and I have said that we are not candidates. Thanks to everyone who has nominated us!
To all fellow Greeks:
Only those who want to announce their OWN bid should post here. We should not post to nominate others, especially since we may not know if they are interested. It will create confusion.
Let us leave this thread exclusively to the candidates. I will not post again in this thread.

Beryoza, I appreciate the vote of confidence. I know that the job really doesn't consume so much time but I am a bit extra busy lately and I would really only consider it if there are enough of you who wish to see it, otherwise I stand on the sidelines and support someone else. I know that for enough people here, I am a controversial character so I don't want to be leader unless either there is no one left for the position or if I am called by enough of you to do it. Personally I would like to see someone else have the job but there doesn't seem anyone stepping up to the plate for some reason.

As a fundamental guideline the group leader should be a hellene without multiple logins and not part of the admin/establishment.it should not be about pretending to have new blood when in reality its more of the same.

I'm looking into sweetening the privileges for group generals...can someone list all the nominees in one post so that I can have them in the poll? And a personal note, good to see you fantaros..might be a kiss of death for me to endorse you but I hope you win the vote..I'm putting your name in there whether you like it or not..I think you and corpusville would be good for each side..
Please work out any matters you have with warnings or bans with the Moderator responsible...only after this has not worked may you e-mail an Administrator for questions about bans or warnings...

Aietuss would you be interested? Unfortunatelly i see all fit for the job Greek forumers only propose basic guidlines but noone is voluntering. Only 2 candidates and one maybe is a shame for Hoplites.
PS: Is possible Mike or some mod post a list of active Hoplites so to have a look of the candidates poll?

...thanks for the support Thermo.. but I'm not interested in the role OR losing my voice in order to hold unity.. BUT i must disagree with you mate.. i think in a symbolic role Rom would make a great leader.. he makes this place interesting to say the least.. and if he phucks up.. it would be fun reeling him back in.. wouldn't you agree?

ok,lets make it interesting, put me down for the race and let the group leader elect a deputy.imo i think having a deputy or vice would allow for better efficiency.

so the structure I envisage is something like this:
Tier 1: [HELLENIC GROUP LEADER / SUPREME COMMANDER]
Tier 2: Helladic chief of staff (PRIMUM INTER PARES) - Cypriot chief of staff - Diaspora chief of staff
Tier 3: Hoplites - Cult of St Stephanou members
an alternative is this:
Tier 1a: [HELLENIC GROUP LEADER / SUPREME COMMANDER]
Tier 1b: [HELLENIC GROUP LEADER DEPUTY]
Tier 2: Helladic chief of staff (PRIMUM INTER PARES)- Cypriot chief of staff - Diaspora chief of staff
Tier 3: Hoplites - Cult of St Stephanou members
so for example we could have:
Supreme Commander - Romulus
Deputy - Varangian
Helladic Chief of Staff (primum inter pares) = Themis84, Cypriot Chief of Staff = Aietuss, Diaspora chief of staff = Fantaros
we could identify each office-holding members in their sig with an appropriate banner
