I"m from the over 40 board and need some of your input on epp. below is a bit of history and then questions. I seem to be prome to functioning cysts. Every other cycle I have a cyst...thus I'm benched every other month. FSH is 7-28, antralls 6-10, normal mature follies after 8 days of stims 3, protocol bravelle/menopur 300/75. My re wants to try epp...for me that means sitting out this month due to two cysts, E2 at 200 and lining at 10mm on day three of cycle. He'll put me on Estrace/provera and then Ganirelix next cycle...so I"m benched this cycle...then I stim. I'm out of time at 44. I need your input. I hope to call the nurse and clarify this issue with her by tomorrow.
My re wants to start me on epp. I'd like to know what your experience with this has been.
----did you have to sit out a cycle?
-----if you did not sit out a cycle...what did they do?
-----how much did you take and when?
-----when was your beta done, if any?
-----do you think it made a difference in your outcome?
