What is one thing you are sad your teen missed out on due to becoming a teen parent?

I can say that I am not sad that she missed out on all the partying I know she would have

been doing if she didn't have dgd. Dgd has certainly grounded her and made her mature a lot sooner. Maybe some day she will regret loosing out on her "teen" years....but funny she only has said that she never felt she missed out on anything.

much sooner but in many ways its been a very positive experience for all of us. We pulled together and got her through it ... she's a wonderful mother and our dgd is a blessing in all our lives. ~ G

YOu know, just being able to go, go with friends to the movies, out to eat, just hang out. No more sleeping over at friends houses, no more just going out the door.

The chance for the typical teen school life

and choosing a college and living in the dorms and all that stuff. She just grew up way to fast!
