John,

I can't find the black and white copy of the Batman/Superman/Captain America commission piece you did. It is not in my files and it is also missing from the Gallery. Would you please repost that one? Thanks!

Greg

All that commission needs is Jerry Ordway to "fix" it, especially the faces, abs, proportions, backgrounds, shadows...

The TopShelf website that lists Comic Book Artist future issues no longer shows the JB issue. It was planned for issue #3, then #4 and now they list thru #5 and it still isn't there. The website is at:

I talked to Rick Bradford from Top Shelf who told me that the JB issue Of Comic Artist had to be postponed but didn't know why.
I emailed the editor of Comic Artist to find out when it was going to be sheduled but haven't heard anything yet.

In the last issue of Comic Book Artist, There was a detailed list of excuses for the lateness of that issue (DEC- supposed to be released in July), and subsequently, the JB issue of Comic Book Artist (MAR?- supposed to be released in NOV). But it was darn nice, and I'll bet the JB issue will be even nicer. Growing roses.

I never saw that piece nor did I ever hear about it nor did I know that they were even planning to put it in Comic book artist. I'm slipping. No, I think I've slipped. -Rick

That is so very cool. Thanks for sharing!

You know, just got me thinking about how cool it would be for an Invaders/JSA crossover!
