I was trolling the internet for cover art and stumbled upon this gem. Don't know know if it's been mentioned in these parts but for those who haven't seen it...
The site says it's a commission piece. I'll assume this Ron Lim is the same guy who used to pencil the Silver Surfer series back in the early 90's. If so, anyone know why he got out of the comic biz? There's obviously still love for the medium, but no mention on his resume of ever doing any work there.
I noticed in the pic posted above that the artwork sort of "directs" you around the piece in a clock-wise fashion. It makes you look at all of it. Very devilish! Is their an artistic term for such directing of the viewer?

I believe that Ron Lim is taking over the art for Thanos after Jim Starlin leaves.

You are correct sir, I saw the preview issue for Thanos(which comes out next week)while at the counter picking up todays books. Thanos is also being written by Giffen.
