I believe that they are characters from a computer game set during World War II called "Commandos."

Matt, you are correct in your belief. A quick Google search for "commando Jack O'Hara" pulled up a bunch of sites for Commandos 1-3.

It is a series of PC games in which you control a squad of, duh, commandos during WWII, going behind enemy lines on various missions.

I always find it interesting when JB is researching such things. Makes me go, "What's he up to?"

In this instance, I was looking for a BOY COMMANDOS image for another thread, and this page popped up in response to my Googling. I was wondering if these were action figures. They seem semi-cool.

There are 3 games in the series, and I have to say, they are the HARDEST computer games I have ever played!
Awesome graphics tho!

The Commandos' series...

As mentioned above, are some of the most difficult, engrossing games for the PC. You actually have to utilize your characters' strengths and talents in order to complete the missions against the Nazis. I do not know how many keyboards and mice that I have sacrificed in getting the missions completed.

Oohh... Don't let the Nazis know you are there to cause mayhem... As one Nazi put it "Ve Vave Vays of making you talk."
