I was browsing eBay...one of my ways of killing time at work, and came across this poster by JB and I don't recall ever seeing it before. It looks like it was done around the time of JB's final days on X-Men unless it was done as a commision piece later.
Thanx in advance for any info, Dave.

I sure would love to see the B & W of this one!
edited to add: Sorry I exceeded the forum width restrictions, but I figured you would
rather see the entire piece together instead of just the second half.

These drawings were not done to be covers, they were done to be posters. (If they were done to be covers, do you think I would have drawn characters up where the logo would cover them?)
The characters are not interacting so the posters could be sold separately, the DC half by DC and the Marvel half by Marvel.
Slade, aka Deathstroke: the Terminator. Mercenary. Assasin for hire. Father of the mute Teen Titan Jericho (who was actually referred to as a 'mutant' on panel in a Wolfman/Perez issue of NTT).
They tried to go all Punisher with him and make him an anti-hero with his own book for a while. I have no idea what his current status is, aside from being the "big bad" over on the Teen Titans cartoon.

<<sigh
Why do you guys always look for the dirt?>>
Not intentionally "looking for dirt". After seeing how the two companies behaved during the first proposed JLA/Avengers 20 years ago, I was thinking out loud (always a big mistake) about perceived slights in a possible cover situation, WHICH was evidently wrong to do. Did not mean....I'm just going to file a report at a later date. -Rick

these two posters have graced my wall for at least ten years. my mom brought them home one day, and it's one of the many reasons why she's the best mom ever.
