Impending Doom....??

Ok, I'm either seeing things, or I was loopy last night when I was online, or someone is just plain playing around! But I could have sworn ROG was "saying" something last night about "Impending Doom", now he's back to "house mode".

... scratching head ...

Hmmmmm, curiouser and curiouser...

Kevin Brown posted the above in another thread. No offense, but Bill Wiist posted another thread just before yours, Kevin.

Hmmm ...

See, about a week ago there was something subtextual which gave me a nucleus of an idea, but didn't quite get me to steel my nerves and enoble me to make a guess. Man, I'm charged up, but I can't be positive. A hard day.

Now, chief among my concerns is this new note from the robot and I'm feeling much more negative about my earlier stretch of the imagination.

To Dave: No problem. When I saw this thread, I figured one would be merged into the other.

And as for good ol' ROG being talkative again... Why do I feel we're in a FedEx commercial now? ("We're all doomed! Doomed....")

Hmm, Rog is probably refering to the brand new team named "Impending Doom Patrol".

I hope the chatroom can support everybody coming out of the woodwork tonight! I know I've had trouble just reading these pages today. Is there a lot of traffic on the website or is it just me?

Click on the word "Chat" at the top of the board, and you're there.

Be warned, some people with AOL, ISPs that utilize proxy servers, and users with Norton Firewall, can have problems using the chatroom. Plus, there's the fact that probably hundreds of people will be trying to get into the chatroom at 9pm EST, so we'll probably crash the thing.

Fpr those who don't make the Chat Room (for whatever reason), ROG will be making the pertinent announcement too, so fear not!

(Be funny if I couldn't get in tho, wouldn't it?)

After the last big chat, we'd talked about using AOL Instant Messenger group rather than Network54's wonky chat. Do we want to try it?

Andrew, the only way around it is to turn off the Norton Security program, and then enter the chat. Once you're in, you can turn it back on if you want.

I use Norton and what works for me is to just "turn off" both Privacy control and Ad Blocking from the main screen on Norton.

I really have to say that to cause such a rukuss, and for so long, as well as keeping people in the dark, is truly a masterful job. I cannot remember when there has ever been such a stir within these message boards, or myself for that matter. I'm almost going to be sad when TW is finally announced. Then again, maybe not; I've been waiting too long for these beans to be spilt!
