It has a "hot chick" in it and it is written and drawn by John Byrne.
What's not to like?

Note to self...
it is not wise to go to the google image search and type in Babe 2 to find pics of the covers to this series because of the nuttie amount of porn on the net! sigh

I liked Babe 2 on its own merits, but as an added bonus, it also features the only known pencils of Abe Sapien and Hellboy to be pencilled by that Byrne guy.
JB, is there any chance of you doing your own Hellboy story in the Hellboy: Weird Tales books? I'd love to see your take on Hellboy 10 years after you scripted Seed of Destruction.
Not to be a total nerd, but I think JB drew Hellboy once for the pages of Danger Unlimited (an image of which was posted on these very boards not so long ago)>
Those books came out during a period where I bought hardly any comics at all and wasn't keeping up with everything that came out. So they flew completely beneath my radar.
So, thus far I've got a hot babe, alligators in sewers, Hellboy tie-in and...not much else. What was the concept of the series?
Fun series. I liked it a lot. Best way to descibe it is from Dark Horse's website:
Who is Ralph Rowan? Who is Gideon Longshadow? And what is their interest in the fabulous Babe? Since Babe doesn't know herself, she can't tell them. Babe doesn't know where she came from, how she ended up on the beach, why she's so incredibly strong, why nothing hurts her, or why she can... breathe underwater? Can't everybody?
From the world of John Byrne's Danger Unlimited comes a woman who walks out of the waves and into the wild world of southern California, wearing nothing more than an enigmatic smile for the sleazy Hollywood agent who sees in her not his wildest dreams, not his ultimate fantasy -- but a nuisance interrupting his busy day.
A giant, super-powered woman, with no clothes, appears on earth. This red-haired beauty seemingly has amnesia, and usually only speaks one word: Babe. But, in no discernable pattern, she can suddenly pop out with completely rational and articulate sentences. Who is she? And who are the aliens who suddenly show a great interest in her? Story and art by John Byrne.
Any more and I'll spoil it for ya. Hope that helped!
I think I liked Babe 2 even more than Babe 1 as we'd gotten past the intro and the whole sci fi element with the gators was very cool. Interesting premise. -Rick
Coincidentally, I just picked up the entire first and second run of Babe at my local Half Price Books a couple of weeks ago for $0.50 each. I already owned copies, but mine are in storage. After I re-read them, I loaned 'em to my nephew.
