As a fan of all your work I have a few questions that I hoped you could answer.

1. I recently reread Legends again the other day.
This time from the new printing of the TPB. In
Mike Gold's intro. he makes reference to a
"gothic novel" that you had written at the time.
What novel is he referring to and is it still
available?
2. Of all the inkers that have inked your pencils
over the years, Which inkers have done the best
job of inking your work?
3. A few years back I got the privilage to meet you
at The Big Easy Con. This would have been right
before _X-Men:The Hidden Years_ came out. On the
cover of the convention booklet, was a sweeeet
drawing you did with the 50's Batmobile. I was
wondering if you had the pencils for that piece
and if so could you pleeeeease post them for all
to see?

1. That would be "Fearbook", my first published novel, now out of print but, like "Whipping Boy", my second novel, still available thru used book outlets.

2. Depends on the job. On the X-MEN, it was Terry Austin. On the FANTASTIC FOUR it was Jerry Ordway. On THE AVENGERS it was Dan Green. Etc.

3. That was not a drawing, it was one of my 3D models, so there are no "pencils". (Most of my models begin as 3D doodles, so there are rarely even preliminaty pencil sketches.)

Here are the two covers I did that way for Roger Price's shows:

DC should start getting you to produce covers for some of the monthlies once in a while, John. Maybe one of the millions of Batman specials. The cover alone would shoot up sales. those Batmobile shots are always cool.-Rick
