If you like Seinfeld, & you're on the East Coast, he'll be on WFAN 660 AM out of NYC this Thursday I believe from 5-7. Their signal reaches all the way to Virginia
Neat. It's worth looking at all of it. The teasers reference Green Lantern calling Superman, and the photo album has Krypto. The "behind the scenes" reveals that this was directed by Barry Levinson.
Jerry Seinfeld is reportedly a BIG fan of Superman. If you watch "Seinfeld," you can spot a Superman refridgerator magnet and a small Superman statue on some shelves in the background of his apartment.
If I remember correctly, Seinfeld requested that the Superman in the commercial look close to Curt Swan's rendition.
" Who I still think would make a perfect Captain Marvel ("Shazam!"). "
Yes! His name was on the tip of my tongue, and I agree that he would make a great Captain Marvel!
I also agreed that actor, Patrick Warburton would make a great Captain Marvel. As a kid, I used to watch the old CBS Saturday morning, Shazam series. I wouldn't mind watching a new version with Warburton in the role.
I liked seeing them hanging out and all, and I liked the style used to portray Superman, but he was a little too dense to be Superman. It's a mischaracterization and somewhat disrespectful to the source. Jerry Seinfeld could have written gags which didn't rely on Superman as the buffoon.
Of course, Superman is my favorite character, and I may be overly sensitive to it.
I don't think that there are many others that felt the same way? Are there?
If you watch "Seinfeld," you can spot a Superman refridgerator magnet and a small Superman statue on some shelves in the background of his apartment.
And in the "Bizarro World" episode where Elaine goes to Bizarro-Jerry's apartment (which is a mirror image of Jerry's), there's a Bizarro Superman statue in the background on a shelf.
The first "webisode" was pretty good, but the next one looks hilarious! Did y'all watch the preview for "Hindsight?" Superman and Jerry on a road trip!!
