OK...here's proof I'm a basket case:

I'm driving to work this morning and pull up at a stoplight behind a car whose license plate reads "XHY-017."

I then spend the next 3-4 miles trying to remember what the cover of X-Men Hidden Years #17 looks like. So engrossed am I that I miss the turn for my building.

I've done that, too, though not to that extreme. License plates do that to me all the time. I saw one the other day that just happened to be "JBF 007". Kind of an odd combo.

And any time I see a license plate that starts "NCC", my first thought is ALWAYS "Shields up! Red Alert!".
